Stubby Pencil Noodlehead, Chimeric Press
Stubby's imaginative recollections made this a treat to illustrate. I used a bright, bold color pallet and little details to keep children and parents entertained for many read-throughs.

Chasing Watermelons, Chimeric Press
As this was for younger readers, I softened the pallet and used a broken, highlighted, outline. Characters were kept simple to mate with easier text.
The Dragons of Pan Gu, Chimeric Press
In this story, Pan Gu is alone in the void before creation. I used a cut paper technique in Photoshop (also shown on main page), sometime resulting in 80+ layers.
RC Duck, Private Eye, Chimeric Press
Illustration overlaying photo images. For this endeavor, I used locations around my town and even incorporated my son's crib. I spread out a brush to create a spotted texture throughout.
